　　这是泰戈尔的一篇散文诗。相信很多人都对其中的某些诗句耳熟能详。
　　世界上最远的距离 不是 生与死的距离 而是 我站在你面前 你不知道我爱你
　　我最初知道的诗句就是这一句。很多人都知道，也相信有很多男生在追女生时用过这一诗句。当读完全篇诗文时，不得不对泰戈尔钦佩。那么美的诗句，那么富有深意的思想。
　　世界上最远的距离 不是 彼此相爱 却不能够在一起 而是明知道真爱无敌 却装作毫不在意
　　这是我最喜欢的一句。明知真爱无敌，却装做毫不在意。有时候很多事情都知道，却又装做不知道。把该说的话藏在心里，把不该说的话轻易说出口，然后伤害自己也伤害他人。爱情如果只是在彼此的试探与猜疑中周转，那不如彼此放过。爱情如果只是在彼此的不甘与懦弱中挥发，那不如独自一人。爱情如果只是在信任与宽容的彼岸，那不如行同陌路。爱情，如果已经不再在意爱情本身，那还是放弃。放过自己放过对方，放过在时间中煎熬的彼此。
　　爱情在我看是尊重与关怀。尊重对方，尊重自己。不要只是一味要求对方，问问自己做了些什么。说对方不是的时候，想想曾经自己是否有权利与立场说这些。对方说自己不是想生气攻击对方的时候，想想曾经自己是否说过同样的话伤害了他（她）。请互相尊重彼此，过多的苛求与谩骂只会让两个人渐行渐远，彼此煎熬痛苦。学会关怀他人，如果他人漠视你，也请关怀他人，不要同样彼此漠视，那两个人的将来就真的不再存在。除非决定两个人从此分开过自己的生活，否则请关怀他（她）。
　　爱情，真正的爱情应该可以给予双方力量与勇气。爱是一种怜惜。尊重与关怀，彼此的心才会互相包容。爱情，才是爱情，才不是煎熬。
